Jordan Furlong is a lawyer and consultant to law firms on strategic and tactical issues. An award-winning blogger, he has been writing since January 2008 at Law21: Dispatches From a Legal Profession on the Brink, where he chronicles the extraordinary changes underway in the legal profession. He is an Honourary Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and Chair of the College's InnovAction Awards, which recognize and reward creativity and innovation in legal services delivery. He has spoken on issues facing the legal profession at numerous conferences, including for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the National Association of Law Placement.

Jordan is a former legal journalist with more than a dozen years' experience leading three top Canadian legal periodicals. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Bar Association's flagship National magazine for a full decade, during which time the publication earned nine Silver and Gold Awards for excellence from the Canadian Business Press and an Investigative Journalism Award from the Canadian Association of Journalists. He also founded and served as Executive Editor of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association's CCCA Magazine, and held the position of Managing Editor with The Lawyers Weekly newspaper. In addition to his partnership with Edge, he provides media and communications advisory services as a Senior Consultant with Stem Legal. A graduate of Queen's University Faculty of Law, he lives in Ottawa, Canada, with his wife and two children.
